Bart Millard is the song writer and lead singer. I knew Bart in Texas when he was a baby and up to age 3 or 4. I was friends with his Mom & her twin. I moved away, but was able to return to TX to see him at a Christmas 2007 concert he does as a Fund Raiser for Juvenile Diabetes since his oldest son, Sam, age 5, has this disease.
