Waiting is the hardest part...

As I'm sitting here waiting patiently in the waiting area God has calmed my fears as I read Psalm 34. If you have a Bible handy it's a great read.

Blessings to all of our prayer warriors.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. God gives us strength beyond what we think we have.

Chuck,

Your two father's are with you - your heavenly father and the father that God allowed to be your earthly father. You are a great Christian man; I'm so very proud of you.

My prayers are with you, Kate, Carter, Cole and Stuart.

Love,

Dad

Dear Dave, I had the pleasure of meeting Kate through Laura Davis Joback. I borrow Kate's words - waiting is the hardest part. I pray for you both but now I pray for you. I went through a bad car accident years ago and I think my mother suffered more than I when I went through surgery. During this difficult time, may God give you the peace that surpasses all understanding. I pray for complete and speedy healing. May He guide Dr. Forget's hands. May all the medical care workers be given wisdom and compassion throughout surgery and recovery. May God bless you both, Jane Yount.

Dave,
May you be blessed with a Holy Peace. May Christ guard your heart and mind. I'm praying for precision by the doctors. May your children be blessed by your strength and know what it means to be a man by the way you love and honor your bride.

Peace be with you,
andy

I have been thinking and praying about you guys for the last few days. God keeps bringing to mind the first question and answer of the heidelberg catechism. I am grateful that my church continually uses this magnificent and comforting text:

What is your only comfort in life and in death?
A. That I am not my own, but belong body and soul, in life and in death to my faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. Christ has fully paid for all my sins with his precious blood, and has set me free from all the power of the devil. He also watches over me in such a way that not a hair can fall from my head without the will of my Father in heaven; in fact, all things must work together for my salvation. Because I belong to him, Christ, by his Holy Spirit assures me of eternal life and makes me wholeheartedly willing and ready from now on to live for him.

God truly keeps us in the palm of his hand. we will continue in prayer.
