Couldn't ask for a ...

The doctors appointment today went well. He read over the MRI report and stated. "We couldn't ask for a better report." Whew! Hallelujah in the house? Do I hear it? My bloodwork also looked fine.

I am to start my chemo tomorrow night for the five day dosage of 350mg. Please pray for my constipation. I try my best to bulk up on fiber and lots of water. My lower left abdominal side hurts if I have constipation problems. It is not fun especially early morning. I also get headaches that tylenol only cuts a portion of the pain. Hey a portion is good. I am counting my blessings today on such a dreary rainy St. Louis day.

Thanks for praying. I hope to post sometime soon in regards to the chemo fiasco we had prior to Indiana as I have it already down on paper. Sorry for the run on. I do that well.

See you soon. k-

Steve prayed for you this morning as we prayed. I had checked your blog earlier yesterday, but not late. We checked together today and were both so greatly blessed by the results. Praise God! We will continue to pray for your other issues that you may find relief.

Kate- Praising God for your good report, and praying for your comfort as you begin your chemo tonight-
I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." Ps 91;2

We're praising the Lord with you for that good report, Kate! We'll pray for you about the "other issue," too. Isn't it great to know our God cares about EVERYthing...

Thanks for sharing the family pictures. What a blessing that time must have been!

Praying for MANY more good reports,
Stacey

Kate,

So thankful to hear of the good report. A verse that I have been pondering lately is "He will be the sure foundation for your times . . ." Isaiah 33:6 Whether the "times" are raising little kids, having teenagers, empty nesting, moving, difficult employment, joyful occasions, dealing with cancer, or whatever life brings us, He truly is our sure foundation. Love to you, Judy K.

Thanking God for His assurance that all is well during this time. He sees all, knows all, and gives all, and helps us accept and deal with all. God, we thank You for all You do with us and for us. Please give Kate and her family all they need during this time. Amen

I thought @ you as I read to Elijah this AM...we were reading the children's book: "Everyone Poops." Some of it reads: "An elephant makes a big poop. A mouse makes a tiny poop...Some stop to poop, others do it on the move...All living things eat, so EVERYone poops!" A real prizewinner, THAT book...it makes me chuckle every time. And absolutely CAPTIVATES the kids...especially as we approach that oh-so-important age of potty training. We're gearing up. So...on the subject of poop, I thought of you and your comment, "please pray for my constipation" b/c you could not BE any more transparent with us, your blogging friends. Dear, we pray for EVERY aspect of your life...for what goes IN (may it be healthy and in line with your nutrient needs) and for what comes OUT (MAY it...come OUT...that is). Ah, I could go on and on with quips and plays on words and such, but, truly... I DO believe that the book's author sums it up well w/ the title: "Everyone Poops." And I HOPE that includes YOU! Ha! (PS: OBVIOUSLY, I'm also happy @ the scan, which I anxiously read about DAYS ago...just didn't comment on right away..[shocker]). Laura Joback
