April forgetfulness

It has been some time since I last posted. After coming home from Bible study on Wednesday I realized I forgot to ask for prayer regarding Mondays MRI. It was no where on my mind regarding Monday. I know the importance of prayer. Powerful! I have included a picture from Easter a few weeks ago. We could not have asked for better weather. Enjoy

I love that second photo. If you are not overly concerned about Monday's MRI, then the prayer you forgot to ask for, but have, is quite possibly being answered. Peace to you, Kate!

I remembered the date of your next MRI just because it is on our anniversary. Been praying for you and will continue to pray this week for peace while waiting for results. I agree with Steve, many prayers must be answered if you 'forgot' to ask for the prayers for a clear MRI and dr. appt. Life does go on! Take care.
Love, Danielle, Rick, Arwen, Sebastian, and little one due June 2010

Kate, your comments on our website have been sweet and have touched my heart. Your faith and courage in your own struggle gives a testimony of who you are and how the Lord is in control of your life. Prayer and faith are the key. I pray for your healing. According to Phil. 2:13, it is God's will, healing, that is working in you. "For it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure." Your health is His good pleasure!!
Psalm 107:20 "He sent His word and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."

Hugs and prayers to you! Love you Kate!

Kate!!! The picture is FABULOUS! And, as you know from e-mail, WAS totally praying for you yesterday w/ the MRI appointment. You have a CREW of good looking sons! I LOVE the pink shirts, too! Getting them in touch w/ their feminine sides! You GO, girl! Dear Anonymous with Oligoastrocytoma 3...Read back through Kate's blog...to the very beginning. Read her words, read the comments from those who love her and have prayed for her & her family...when you've got 10 hours to spare (or so), skim through the whole enchilada. I don't know you, Amber, but I know the immense battle you are about to begin. It has been a blessing to walk alongside Kate and see her faith, her falters, and her malignancy story unfold. I will be praying for YOU this week...for strength, for hope, for wisdom for your oncologists, attending doctors, and their staff. Praying that you will have friends come alongside YOU to hold you up by your armpits when you think you can't go on... You ask: "How do you fight this?" Please know: Kate's story is a FAITH story. Isaiah 30:18 says: "Therefore the Lord longs to be gracious to you, and therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you...how blessed are all those who long for Him."
