Picture Day Rush

Today at school is picture day. This morning along with last night was a hub bub of sorts. Ironing shirts, shorts, etc. This morning was getting the hair gel in place. Not messing it up with a hoodie was a fiasco for Cole. Stuart will need a bath today due to sticky face & hands from a cinnamon raisan french toast breakfast. He is to arrive at 11:00 for individual pics. He normally attends school on Tuesday & Thursdays. There will be an all school picture at 11:30. No Bible study this morning for me. Too much busyness. I am still in my p.j.'s.

Please take the time to pray for Dave. He is coming down with a virus. He is going to bed earlier than normal due to swollen glands. Work also has been a busy one for him with lots of meetings.

I will have my blood drawn tomorrow morning. My next doctors appointment is Tuesday the 23rd. This Friday starts my chemo cycle. It will most likely run till Tuesday eve if complications do not arise like my migraine last time. Please pray for a non eventful 5 day cycle.

Controlled chaos. That's what it's called. Thankfully, God doesn't give us more than we can handle! Guess we won't be chipping a nail today, because that would put us over the edge!

Love and prayers for all of you,
Ramona

Hi Kate,

I sure will be praying for Dave and for you. So glad you were able to make it to picture day, and glad to finally meet "puppy" in person!

Erika,
Stuarts beloved puppy is his soul mate as you know from him talking about her in class. Stuart considers puppy a "she". He often reminds me of it.

He didn't want to go to picture day without her this morning. What's a mom to do?Pictures with puppy is fine. She is a part of this family you know...

Kate, I hope and pray that all of your family are over their colds, and that you are having a good day today. Our wish is for all good days for you and yours. When you see those handsome boys' pictures all the effort is forgotten, isn't it? That's all the thanks we moms need. Our greatest physical accomplishemnts are our children, I think all of us would agree.

Definately want an uneventful cycle of chemo after the last havoc you guys have had recently...glands swollen, mouth sores, fevers, fever blisters, missed school, early pick-ups, early bedtimes, and so on... Why am I reciting this? It is ALL too familiar to YOU, the mom of all of this hub-bub! You are doing FAB-ulous! And you LOOK FAB-ulous! I was just sorting through some papers and came across the ticket stubs from the "Horton Hears a Who" outing...what F-U-N...good memories, good chicken @ the mall, good social time 4 mommies! Summer...why did you END? Groan! I cannot WAIT to see how handsome the boys' pictures turn out! You have quite a nice-looking brood, my dear! Praying 4 Dave's rest & recuperation. Hugs 2 all! L Jo

Kate,

It was great to see you at baseball the other night. I will be praying these next 5 days are uneventful and the whole family is feeling better. Sounds like maybe a good thing baseball fields were flooded...hope you can all get some rest.

Love,
Kim B.
