Just Left Pre-Op

Kate just left the pre-op area and is heading into surgery. Surgery should begin in about 30 minutes. I will keep you, our faithful prayer warriors updated.

Kate was unbelievably calm and peaceful in pre-op. She has enjoyed me reading your comments and Bible verses to her.

Praise God for the peace that passes understanding.

In Christ,
Dave

What a blessing for peace and calm for Kate pre-op. We know where that comes from! Thank you for updating us this morning, even in the midst of all that's been going on. I'm praying for you all- for a smooth, uneventful surgery, for a quick recovery, that even the surgeons and everyone else in the room would be amazed at the success and ease of the surgery, and that they would see the hand of God moving and guiding them throughout the whole procedure. Praying for peace, calm and assurance for you, and for whispers from God to you as you wait. Praying for your boys, that others would rally around them and encourage them today. We love you!

Wonderful answer to prayer that Kate and you know the Lord's peace right now. Am continuing to pray as Kate enters surgery -- esp. for Dr. Forget and for the Lord's direction and hand in all the surgery and healing.

I was made aware of your situation this morning and have sent a prayer list to everyone at my church. I do pray for a quick recovery and that the Lord will bless you all. God Bless you. You are in our prayers.

Dave and family!
All of us in Dr. Forgets office are praying for Kate and family. She is such a sweetheart! We are supposed to be working but can't get much done because we are praying and reading the blog. Keep this a secret! Ha ha!

I laughed when I read Dave's comment about us bloggers "letting him know we're out there..." WHERE ELSE WOULD WE BE? All of us are supposed to be working (me included), but I have Kate's blog minimized on EVERY screen here at the clinic so I can get on and see the latest between my patients. It was "so" Kate to be sitting on her bed doing her Bible study, sportin' her Tommy's on her tootsies! We're ALL praying for her AND for you and the fam today, Dave. Laura Joback

Friends in Christ - isn't that wonderful? The majority of us don't know each other and may never interact again on this earth, but we are all united in lifting this family before the Throne of God and calling on the Name of Jesus on their behalf. I'm so thankful to be a part of the Body of Christ! Praying in PA!
