God is Amazing!

This is unbelievable! (OK, it is believable because it happened) God must be reading this blog. Within 2 minutes of sending the last post, I was paged and notified that an ICU room had just become available.

Why am I surprised, God is so good! He knows what we need before we ask.

Dave

Praise God from whom ALL blessings flow!! I am rejoicing with you that the surgery and post-op time have gone so well, and now that Kate has an ICU room. I have prayed for each of you throughout the entire day and will continue to lift you up. Your boys are much in my prayers, knowing they are missing you at home. I'm praying that God will meet their needs in ways that are beyond what we can even expect or imagine. He is carrying you all through each moment of this, and He will not let you down or disappoint you. How great is that?!!
It is so cool to feel so connected to the body of believers who are supporting you!
THANK YOU for allowing us to walk this part of the journey with you. It is a privilege.

To Carter, Cole, and Stuart,
This is Cooper and I am 6 years old. I hope your mom gets better. I had some help from my mom because I'm still learning how to read and write. I am praying for you!

What great news...we are rejoicing with you! God woke me around 4 this morning to pray for you and I have been lifting you before our mighty Father all day. How great it is to be able to come before the maker of heaven and earth...to pour out our hearts before Him...and know that He hears our prayers and know that He is holding you in His loving hands!

Praising God with you,
Mark and Nancy

Kate it was so good to see you just a couple of weeks ago. You mentioned that you had some things going on in your life, but I had no idea about this new chapter. I just found out today. My heart became so burdened for you and I have been praying for you all day. I am so thankful for the successful surgery and will continue to pray for your recovery.
May you continue to feel the arms of The Almighty carrying you through.
"Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. I cling to you; your right hand upholds me." Psalm 63: 7-8

Praying with you,

Praying that ALL of your famiy will rest in God's perfect peace tonight. You guys have been on my mind (Sarah's and Macy's too) all day. Macy especially because she likes your last name. "Snodgrass?! That's soo silly mom!? Sarah enjoyed making something special for you today at school. I was stunned at dinner as she prayed - after asking God to bless our meal she prayed for your surgery and for your "boys". It was unprompted and I am so thankful again of God's goodness. He is so faithful! I pray that He continues to make Himself known to your children and that He will continue to keep you and Dave in His perfect peace.

Dave and Kate,
I've just read through this whole blog, and it feels like a reunion! It makes me think of heaven and how the prayers of the saints are kept together in golden bowls held by the elders before the throne. (Rev. 5:8) Thanks for setting this up and allowing us to follow along and add our prayers to one of the golden bowls along with yours.

Thank you, Lord, for walking through today with Your hand on Kate and Dr. Forget. Thank you for Dave's peace and for the empty ICU bed. Fill their hearts with the knowledge that you are with them ALWAYS, even until the end of the age.

We love you guys and will be continually following along and lifting you up(in case your arms have those weak moments that Laura B talked about - I loved that post!).

Kate, Dave, and boys,
I just found out today about your tumor and surgery. I have been in prayer for you and am rejoicing to hear the good news that the surgery went well and you have your private room in which to recover. We miss you so much over here at E. Free. Just seems like yesterday that I had Carter and then Cole in the 3 year old class on Tuesday mornings. May God's grace, mercy and peace fill you and surround you. In His loving and watchful care, Marijo Blair
