Group prayer at CCS

Covenant Christian School
a time of corporate prayer on Tuesday at 8:25

It would be great if you can come. I am not sure of the Tuesday schedule if Dave and I will be able to stay. The neurosurgeons office this morning (Monday) will be giving me more info about specific details ie: blood work and stuff. BE SURE TO VOTE on Tuesday as well. : )

As the day is drawing near, I am preparing.
My mom, Soccer Gram along with my younger sister, Aunt Dee Dee will be tag teaming on the homefront care. Many thanks to them for holding up the fort. My heart was filled with delight as I read my sisters comment. (She called herself Dee Dee cuz my youngest says it that way). It was good to hear what all she wrote as she knows (without even talking to me) her older sister is furioiusly writing out all the boys needs, schedules, emergency info, likes, dislikes, funny things they do, etc. The list goes on. The white binder will be on the counter for any caregiver that comes.

I will write more later hopefully during my son's nap at noon.
Thanks again for your compassion and love. Do keep the emails, comments and phone calls coming. I may not be able to respond to all but I am truly encouraged by them.

Good morning Kate! Just wanted you to know that our family is in constant prayer for you, Dave, Carter, Cole & Stuart! You were the first thing on my mind this morning and I will continue to lift all of you up! I mentioned you to my Mom as well - she said you are such a dear customer of LRM and plans to pass the word on to them this a.m. as well, if that's ok. Above all, know that you are all in God's hands right now.....and that is the best place to be. Isn't it such a comfort to know that HE is in control and we aren't? I pray that he will meet and exceed all the needs of each member of your family today. You are all truly safe in His hands!

Kate, Dave and Family,
We are praying for a smooth surgery, quick recovery, good results, and your peace of heart and mind. Through our Libby we know that these times show us such a beautiful side of God's grace, love and provision. We know that He promises hardships but, more importantly, he promises His powerful love, grace and VICTORY.

We wish you didn't have this before you but, given that you do, we confidently await the blessings that will come through it: the Faith that will grow, those that will meet Christ through you, the victories that will be declared in the name of Christ, and blessings that we cannot even anticipate.

We have been out of town so am just now reading your blog. Shirley Keitel did call and ask if I had heard. I had not had a chance to read everything. After I got off the phone, with her I went to God. While I was lifting you up, He reminded me that as much as I and your family love you, He loves you even more. I know you know that, but I also know that during times like this, it doesn't always seem like it. I'm praying for you and will continue to life you up.

I hope that all went well this morning at your doctors visit. Our family will be in prayer for you all during this time and we'll gladly pitch in to help.

Kate, Dave, and Boys,
My family is praying for the details of this surgery and for your hearts. I praise God for the peace Dave told you that he has for this situation, and for the email from your friend about Aaron and Hur holding up the arms of Moses. What a tender picture of the body of believers. You are on my mind and in my heart each day and will continue to come before God's throne with your needs. I would love to help, thank you for posting contact numbers for those organizing your volunteers!

Hey sister, the people at Kaldi's Kirkwood send their thoughts and prayers your way, aka their sending "a shout out" to you. Nathan G, my friend from Covenant, offered to clean my bathroom. I told him my brain was fine; I don't think he believed me.

Since hearing of your condition, I've had many co-workers and friends share success stories of their loved ones who have had brain surgery and tumor removal. It seems that everyone knows someone who not only has survived such a surgery but continues to live a normal, healthy life.

"Illuminated By The Light Of Kate"

I've only met you three times, in Bible Study, but this is what I want you to know; I awoke this morning heavily burdeaoned to pray for you, again. Philipians 2:15 came to me, " . . . Shine like a star in the universe as you bring forth the Word of life . . . " and then, in the light of Kate Snodgrass, my list of woes were very clearly, just my complaints. (Philipians 2:14)

As I am going through my day I cannot help but think of you and your family and again, God is using Kate's light,like a laser beam, to etch truth's onto my own heart.

Brilliantly Kate's light is shining as it draws family, friends, and other believers together, " . . . making increase in the body unto the edifying of itself in love" Ephesians 4:16

How many lives touched . . . . how many hearts changed . . . these are the tings of eternal measure. Shine on Kate Snodgrass, "like a star in the Universe"

I Love that family picture! :)
I have been so encouraged as I see how many this blog has reached...the many, many prayers that are being lifted up to the throne is an amazing thought. Jason and I are praying fervently for you and Dave and each of your sons by name. We love you!
