Kate's Hot

Kate is up and moving around this evening and very perky (given the circumstances). She is helping me write this post and told me what to put for the title.

A quick update on the last post, I can't provide all the details over the blog but God answered that prayer while I went home for a shower and to see the boys (Kate told me to) and now even I have sleeping accomodations for the night.

Kate is grateful for everyone's prayer support (especially those in Taiwan covering her with prayer in the middle of the night). She has a slight temperature and asks that you pray for it to go down. Also, her blood sugar is up a bit, she is eating some food while I type this so we hope is goes down.

Tomorrow, we expect to hear the results of the biopsy on the tumor. Tonight, we hope for a good night's sleep.

Grace and peace to all of our friends,

Dave (and Kate)

Kate-
I will be praying tonight that your temp goes down- but I have to agree that you are "hot"! I am thankful for all of your helpers and prayer support- It is so beautiful to see the body of Christ in action. Rest tonight- you too ,Dave! and know that we are praying for you! Love in Him, Jen Peskorse

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. Romans 8:26

Thank you God for Kate's spunky and humorous attitude. This must be a great relief to all. Her wit, charm and positive attitude fill us with gratitude. God keep you safe and give you rest (all of you!) Martha M

Kate and Dave, this is Mary Lou (Zook) Hom here in Portland, Oregon. I am trying my hand at blogging for the first time...let's see how this goes.

Arthur and I along with our 20 month old daughter Dacia Grace have been praying for you since Laura Joback called on Sunday with the lastest "Snodgrass" news! Oh how I wish that I could give you a great big hug! I am glad to know though that at any moment Jesus can give you that hug for me and that it is so much bigger than the one I could ever give you!

We have been reading the blog daily to get updates and are encouraged to see your progress and to see the awesome ways that God is providing for all your needs.

Kate - We will be praying for you and your family as you recover. It is good to hear of the support that has rallied around you. Our God does supply all our needs. We will concentrate now on asking God for complete physical wellness, a positive biopsy result and rest for all of you. Amelia Schultz

Kate & Dave,

I find it very refreshing (with all the bad stuff that’s out there) that God can use the internet for such good too! What an amazing story of how the Body of Christ is at work, and how God is so clearly providing for and loving your family! The moment Doug told me about your situation, my heart ached for you and your family. Kristen, Kate and I have been praying for you for morning, noon, and night, for the past few days. We will continue to pray for your needs as we stay up-to-date with this blog. Thank you both for sharing this journey with us. Praise God!

In His Love,
Doug, Lynne, Kristen & Kate Pogue

Hi again!
I too am awake in the middle of the night (up with Carly briefly), and as I was praying for you, resisting the strong urge to check your blog, I climbed back into bed and then thought that I'd let you know that you're being prayed for. So there was my good excuse to get an update! (Hope I'm not being a nuisance--I've written several times now!)
So glad to know exactly what to pray for (temp and blood sugar), and I was again brought to tears as I read that God has answered our prayers re: your room/sleeping arrangements. HE IS SO GOOD!
Kate, I love knowing that you haven't lost your sense of humor in the midst of this. It's a joy and a relief to laugh with you!
